Well, that's the first I've heard of it.
But if so, I'd have to say that Wellmont has a good track record of turning around struggling facilities. And St. Mary's/Bon Secours/Mountain View has been struggling.

Well hopefully that helps, because last time I was at the former St. Mary's, it was horrible.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

Wellmont has also sold their Home Health offices to Advance Home Health. The takeover will happen on July 1. Several changes already.

Perhaps I'm a bit biased [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif[/img] but this could be a good thing for them. St. Marys needed work and modernization when it was still non-profit, and when it changed hands the first time it didn't do well. And the second time it changed hands some improvements were made, but also some changes that maybe weren't for the better.

Yep, they sure did. My daughter told me about the sale and of the purchase over a week ago.
